An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato
garden, but it was very hard work.
His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man
wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation. :-(
Dear Son, I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able
to plant my potato garden this year.
I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved
planting time. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden
plot.If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would
dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison.
Love, Dad
………
Shortly, the old man received this telegram:
“For Heaven’s sake, Dad,don’t dig up the garden!! That’s where I buried
the GUNS!” At 4a.m.
the next morning,
A dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the
entire garden without finding any guns.
Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what
happened, and a sked him what to do next.
His son’s reply was: “Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad. It’s the
best I could do for you from here.”
- Moral Of the Story
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD,
IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART, YOU CAN DO IT.
IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS.
:-| Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owner, his wife, and their little boy were all very attached to Belker and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family there were no miracles left for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.
As we made arrangements, the owners told me they thought it would be good for the four-year-old boy to observe the procedure. They felt he could learn something from the experience.
The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker’s family surrounded him. The little boy seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on.
Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion.
We sat together for a while after Belker’s death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.
The little boy, who had been listening quietly, piped up, “I know why.”
Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I’d never heard a more comforting explanation. He said, “Everybody is born so that they can learn how to live a good life – like loving everybody and being nice, right?” The four-year- old continued, “Well, animals already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay as long.”
A man stopped at a flower shop to order some flowers to be wired to his mother who lived two hundred miles away.
As he got out of his car he noticed a young girl sitting on the curb sobbing. He asked her what was wrong and she replied, “I wanted to buy a red rose for my mother. But I only have seventy-five cents, and a rose costs two dollars.”
The man smiled and said, “Come on in with me. I’ll buy you a rose.” He bought the little girl her rose and ordered his own mother’s flowers.
As they were leaving he offered the girl a ride home. She said, “Yes, please! You can take me to my mother.” She directed him to a cemetery, where she placed the rose on a freshly dug grave.
The man returned to the flower shop, canceled the wire order, picked up a bouquet and drove the two hundred miles to his mother’s house.
Moral: Don’t Send Artificial Loves to your parents. Give them the respect and courtesy they desire. They are your most precious Treasure, Care for them. God Forbid, if they leave this world then one can do nothing but regret.
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note.
In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this Rupee 500 note?”
Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this note to one of you
but first let me do this.” He proceeded to crumple the note up.
He then asked, “Who still wants it?”
Still the hands were up in the air.
“Well,” he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground and
started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all
crumpled and dirty. “Now who still wants it?”
Still the hands went into the air.
“My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not
decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as
though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose
your value.
You are special. Don’t ever forget it! Never let yesterday’s disappointments overshadow tomorrow’s dreams.
” VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED”

Christmas is not a time nor a season,
But a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill,
To be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas

For thy lord

to see the month of December!
So shall all impossibility in your will be possible!
Wishing u merry x-mas!!
Christmas is a time when
everybody wants his past forgotten
and his present remembered.
What I don’t like about office Christmas parties
is looking for a job the next day.
From Home to home,
and heart to heart,
from one place to another.
The warmth and joy of Christmas,
brings us closer to each other.

I believe in my ways, in my ways in which those hurt but yielding fruits.
I believe in the path of truth, in the difficult path.
I believe in my words, my words, my hugs and in my eyes.
I believe in and who I am, therefore, who despite the defeats I have no intentions to stop being.
I believe in my dream, in the magnificent dream that I will continue building until
I do not believe to be more forces.
I believe in destiny, in my story in my footsteps and in my experience.
I believe in my desire to give and I believe in a wonderful world that awaits
drop of my affection.
I believe in friendship, kissing in the rain, smiles and secrets.
I believe in my effort to grow in my desire to grow.
I believe in life, and the magic with which touches all things.
I believe in destiny and a future reward for those who face the challenge
to be true to themselves.
I believe in me, especially when I believe in me down, when I have no forces, when the wind blows and give my candles, I still believe in and stand back with all my forces to go on and on believing, and continue on foot, and continue living.
I believe in the feelings that can make each day a different sun, and of course…
I believe in love and in doing so indescribable to be stopped before life, in that intrepid way to pass time, in such form as dangerous and After so exciting to have an open heart ……..
Its easy to convince one who is in anger but its not easy to compromise one who is disappointed. Never disappoint a person who cares about U.

Some years ago, on a hot summer day in South Florida, a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went. He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.
His father, working in the yard, saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, he ran toward the water, yelling to his son as loudly as he could.
Hearing his voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his father. It was too late. Just as he reached his father, the alligator reached him.
From the dock, the father grabbed his little boy by the arms just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began an incredible tug-of-war between the two. The alligator was much stronger than the father, but the father was much too passionate to let go.
A farmer happened to drive by, heard his screams, raced from his truck, took aim and shot the alligator.
Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal. And, on his arms, were deep scratches where his father’s fingernails dug into his flesh in his effort to hang on to the son he loved.
The newspaper reporter, who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked if he would show him his scars. The boy lifted his pant legs. And then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, ‘But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Dad wouldn’t let go.’
You and I can identify with that little boy. We have scars, too. No, not from an alligator, but the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go. In the midst of your struggle, He’s been there holding on to you.
The Scripture teaches that God loves you. You are a child of God. He wants to protect you and provide for you in every way but sometimes we foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril – and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That’s when the tug-of-war begins – and if you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He did not and will not ever let you go.
Heavy rains remind me of challenges in life. Never ask for lighter rain, just a better umbrella.
