A Speeding Driver’s Car

logo

Sanjay, a rich guy, loved fast cars and he did have a few in his

possession. He loved to speed and could not be bothered about breaking speed
limits.

Many a times he was caught by the cops and speed radars,

fined, but still he never bothered until.

One day as he was driving at a very high speed as usual, he saw a cop
following him.

The cop overtook him finally and asked him to stop and checked his license.

He then took out his pad and started Writing,

and then handed over the sheet of paper to Sanjay. How much was this one

going to cost ?!!!Wait a minute.

What was this? Some kind of joke? Certainly not a ticket.Sanjay began to

read:

'Dear Sanjay,

Once upon a time I had a lovely daughter.

She was six when killed by a car.You guessed it – a speeding driver's car.

A fine and three months in jail, and the man was free.

Free to hug his three daughters.I only had one, and I'm going to have to

wait until Heaven, before I can ever hug her again.A thousand times I've

tried to forgive that man.

A thousand times I thought I had. Maybe I did,

but I need to do it again. Even now.

Pray for me.. And be careful, Sanjay, my son is all I have left.' Sanjay

turned around in time to see the cop's car pull away andhead down the road.

He watched until it disappeared.

A full 15 minutes later, he too, pulled away and drove slowly home,

praying for forgiveness and hugging a surprised wife and kids when he

arrived.

Life is precious. Handle it with care.

God Doesn’t Exist

logo

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists.":/

"Why do you say that?"asked the customer.

"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.

Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine loving a God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and un-kept.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?"asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."

"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.":)

Confession is the next best thing to innocence.

logo

Confession is the next best thing to innocence.

The intention makes the lie, not the words.
A lie would have no sense unless the truth was felt dangerous.
Truth is not only violated by falsehood; it is outraged by silence.
The cruelest lies are often told in silence.
The simple act of any ordinary courageous man is not to take part, not to support lies!
Speak the truth and shame the devil.
The great enemy of truth is often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth -persistent, persuasive, and realistic. Too often we hold fast to the clichés of our forebears.
The history of the race, and each individual’s experiences, are thick with evidence that a truth is not hard to kill and a lie told well is immortal.
An unexciting truth may be eclipsed by a thrilling lie.
There are three kinds of lies; lies, damned lies, and statistics.
When a thing ceases to be a subject of controversy, it ceases to be a subject of interest.
In the kingdom of the blind the one-eyed man is king.
Lies – there you have the religion of slaves and taskmasters. Truth is the god of the free man.
The world wants to be betrayed.
What hope is there when people, even in front of the evidence, turn their head?
Lying is an elementary means of self-defense.
But there are other things which a man is afraid to tell even himself, and every decent man has a number of such things stored away in his mind … a man’s true autobiography is almost an impossibility…man is bound to lie about himself.
No one can tell the whole truth about himself. It is not only vanity that has prevented those who have tried to reveal themselves to the world from telling the whole truth, it is the direction of interest; their disappointment with themselves, their surprise that they can do things that seem to them abnormal, make them place too great an emphasis on occurrences that are more common than they suppose.
The easiest person to deceive is one’s self.
If you do not tell the truth about yourself you cannot tell it about other people.
You can deceive those better than you but not your peers.

The dog is walking down the street!

logo

A butcher watching over his shop is really surprised when he sees a dog coming inside the shop. He shoos him away. But later, the dog is back again.

So, he goes over to the dog and notices’ it has a note in its mouth. He takes the note and it reads, “Can I have 12 sausages and a leg of lamb, please.”

The dog has money in its mouth, as well. The butcher looks inside and, low and behold, there is a $10 note there. So he takes the money and puts the sausages and lamb in a bag, placing it in the dog’s mouth. The butcher is so impressed, and since it’s about closing time, he decides to shut the shop and follow the dog. So off he goes.

The dog is walking down the street, when it comes to a level crossing the dog puts down the bag, jumps up and presses the button.

Then it waits patiently, bag in mouth, for the lights to turn. They do, and it walks across the road, with the butcher following him all the way.

The dog then comes to a bus stop, and starts looking at the timetable. The butcher is in awe as the dog stops a bus by pulling its left leg up and gets in it. The butcher follows the dog into the bus.

The dog then shows a ticket, which is tied to its belt to the bus conductor. The butcher is nearly fainting at this sight, so are the other passengers in the bus.

The dog then sits near the driver’s seat looking outside waiting for the bus stop to come. As soon as the stop is in sight, the dog stands and wags its tail to inform the conductor.

Then, without waiting for the bus to stop completely, it jumps out of the bus and runs to a house very close to the stop. It opens the big iron gate and rushes inside towards the door.

As it approaches the wooden door, the dog suddenly changes its mind and heads towards the garden. It goes to the window, and beats its head against it several times, walks back, jumps off, and waits at the door.

The butcher watches as a big guy opens the door, and starts abusing the dog, kicking him and punching him, and swearing at him.

The butcher surprised with this, runs up, and stops the guy. “What in heaven’s name are you doing? The dog is a genius. He could be on TV, for the life of me!” to which the guy responds: “You call this clever? This is the second time this week that this stupid dog’s forgotten his key.”

Moral of the story…

You may continue to exceed onlookers’ expectations but shall always fall short of the bosses’ expectations.

“Excellence” is a drive from inside, not outside.

logo

A German once visited a temple under construction where he saw a sculptor making an idol of God. Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lying nearby. Surprised, he asked the sculptor, “Do you need two statues of the same idol?” “No,” said the sculptor without looking up, “We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage.” The gentleman examined the idol and found no apparent damage. “Where is the damage?” he asked. “There is a scratch on the nose of the idol.” said the sculptor, still busy with his work. “Where are you going to install the idol?”

The sculptor replied that it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet high. “If the idol is that far, who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose?” the gentleman asked. The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said, “I will know it..”

The desire to excel is exclusive of the fact whether someone else appreciates it or not. “Excellence” is a drive from inside, not outside. Excellence is not for someone else to notice but for your own satisfaction and efficiency…

EGO..Kills U!

logo

There was once a learned scientist..

After a lot of practice and efforts, he developed a formula and learned the art of reproducing himself. He did it so perfectly that it was impossible to tell the reproduction from the original.

One day while doing his research, he realized that the Angel of Death was searching for him. In order to remain immortal he reproduced a dozen copies of himself. The reproduction was so meticulous that all of them looked exactly like him. Now when this Angel of Death came down, he was at a loss to know which of the thirteen before him was the original scientist, and confused, he left them all alone and returned back to heaven.

But, not for long, for being an expert in human nature, the Angel came up with a clever idea. He said to the scientist addressing all thirteen of them, “Sir, you must be a genius to have succeeded in making such perfect reproduction formula of yourself. However, I have discovered a flaw in your work, just one tiny little flaw.”

The scientist immediately jumped out and shouted, Impossible! where is the flaw?” “Right here” said the Angel, as he picked up the scientist from among the reproductions and carried him off.

The whole purpose of the scientist and his formula of reproduction failed as he could not control his pride and lost his life.

So while one’s Knowledge and Skills takes one to the top of the ladder and makes one successful, however the three letter word “EGO” can pull one down immediately.

Let go one’s Ego.

Perserverance

logo

A science teacher once took a group of students to the laboratory to show how a butterfly emerges out of its chrysalis. He gave them instructions to just watch and not touch it and left to some other work.

All the students watched with wonder and excitement. The butterfly was making great efforts to free itself from the chrysalis. It was taking very long and it had still not come out. One of the boys lost patience and slit the chrysalis with a razor blade to set the butterfly free. But sadly, the butterfly soon died. On coming back, the teacher scolded the boy, and then explained, what had gone wrong. “Nature has its own unique ways and we should never interfere with it. While striving to free itself, the wings of the butterfly actually become strong and later help in its struggle for survival. It is a long and a patient struggle. You stopped the natural process and saw the consequences for yourself.”

Pray 2 God to give all of us the strength and faith when we need and when we face difficulties.I daily pray 2 God 2 help me dispel my anger and disappointment and give me the strength of patience and perseverance.

PATIENCE IS A POWER; WITH TIME AND PATIENCE MULBERRY LEAF BECOMES SILK..

Make a Difference

Your time is never wasted when you’re truly making a difference. Every productive effort adds value to your world.

Don’t worry about what’s in it for you. If you’re making a difference, if you’re making a positive contribution to life, there’s always something in it for you.

Though there may not seem to be any direct or immediate rewards, your efforts will most certainly be rewarded.  The longer you’re willing to wait for those rewards, the bigger they will be.

Many times your efforts will pay off  in ways you could not have foreseen. Keep being creative, keep being productive,
Keep being effective, and keep being your best.

It may sometimes seem that no one appreciates the work you’re doing.  When you feel that way, then raise your efforts to an even higher level, for at some point someone will definitely take notice.

Be sincere in your efforts and in your desir to make a valuable, meaningful positive difference. And know that the rewards will always come.

Love is an act of endless forgivenessA tender look which becomes a habit.”
